Trust your instincts
1'd like to throw out a couple of questions: Do you trust your gut? Do you ever get a "feeling" about something? Do you listen to your inner voice?
Assuming you've recognized a gut feeling, do you have the confidence, courage and conviction to act on it, even if it's counterintuitive? Great!
Talk to most successful entrepreneurs, and they'll tell you that they rely heavily on instinct. There's no quantity question that knowledge, data and experience are invaluable but something else entirely integrates sensory experience and cognitive input and taps into other resources that we may not fully understand. No matter what you call it -a pool of universal know1edge, a holy spirit, your conscience or divine intelligence seldom does it lead us astray.
In fact, ignoring one's instincts often results in disappointment. A relationship fails. A business deal goes south. Then we hear: "I knew it. I had a feeling that was going to happen!" Trusting your gut isn't enough- you have to let it guide your actions.
Successful entrepreneurs are arguably the most "in tune" of all business people on the planet because their dream is their life.
As you look to 2010, give yourself every opportunity for success: Believe in yourself and act on your instincts!
Keep the faith.
